Ken-Ton Animal Clinic

Great place! We have acquired many pets and it was hard to find a place that I could afford. Here, the staff and the veterinarian are always kind, and able to get me in quickly. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Ken-Ton is affordable and I’ve always had a pleasant experience with them. Thank you Ken-Ton Animal Clinic for being great to my animals and my pocket! brought my 11lb Missy in for an operation and she was cut from chest to groin and the put 62 staples in her 12 inch body. She died the next morning struggling to breath and bleeding internally. we had to out her down. Dr O'Hara oddly called in sick that day.... it's 4 months and i'm just now warning anyone to stay away from o'Hara. He used her to practice on and i'm not sure she really needed the operation. i'll never forget the look of terror on her face. I blame myself for trusting him that it was the right thing to do... it wasn't. Never heard from him after we out her down. The staff was very friendly.

When I lost my bunny and needed to get him cremated they were very good with getting me in as soon as I could. They made it easier for me. I appreciate their help. Just wanted to add pics in addition. The flowere were not from them but everything else was. I also got the most beautiful locking chest that my Barney is in. I also purchased 2 beautiful necklaces with my Bunnys ashes that an employee of here did for me at a great price. This all means so much to me, and I appreciate you all so much.

If you value and love your pets I wouldn’t take them to Ken Ton Animal Clinic I had an incredibly traumatic experience at Ken Ton Animal Clinic when saying goodbye to my beloved Allie. The lengthy sedation process, 100 % lack of transparency from staff, and the unsettling news that my dog will be in a cooler for two weeks have left me heartbroken. The compassion and understanding I expected were absent, making this goodbye even more painful. Moreover, I'm now left with uncertainty about whether Allie was individually cremated, even after paying a substantial amount. The lack of clarity in such a sensitive matter has deepened the pain. The lack of remorse on there part with the only response the gave was “sorry that’s the way we do it.” I hope our traumatic experience makes you think twice about using a Veterinarian clinic like this one.

While I understand people make mistakes, both of my pets left this clinic with issues. My small dog visited this clinic with some issues with his anal glands. They were fixed and we went on our way. A short time later, we noticed some leaking and blood coming out. We had to take him to the emergency vet where he was diagnosed with a double anal gland infection. Also my cat was seen over the summer. She was losing hair on her sides. The vet told my sister she was fine and it was nothing to worry about; why put her through blood work to figure it out. Again, that's OK why pay for that if it is not needed. However, the issue continued and did not get better. Seen at a new vet clinic, she was diagnosed with fleas! All they did was actually take a look, ask questions, and took a small comb to solve the problem. We also personally feel as though the receptionists could be a little more kind when talking to people especially since they answer the phones. When we needed more medication for our dog, we needed to make an appointment for him to be seen. My husband had to reschedule due to having to work. A receptionist then proceeded to call him back yelling about how he needed to make sure he made the new appointment. Really, I do understand that we are all human but sometimes things need to be done just a little bit better and nicer.

Miracle workers! Our little mini-schnauzer was hurt badly on a 2 night, below freezing, snowy escapade. She was physically ripped up badly and quite traumatized. They wisked her in, patched her up, gave us the appropriate medication, and we had two follow up visits. All for a fraction of what I paid at a nearby clinic when we had another dog get hurt. Plus, they were all so friendly and wonderful!!! I switched to them about a year ago and could not be happier!! THE BEST!!
